Case Managers serves our guests and participants by providing the best and most appropriate internal and external service connections with an end goal of sustainable housing.
Aftercare programs are incorporated in this role.
Reports to the Manager of Case Management.
Hours of Availability:
Full-Time hours (40) with a Typical schedule between 9:00am - 5:00pm
Compensation: $DOE

A basic knowledge of general sales and merchandising processes.

Strong organizational skills to assist with multi-tasking daily assignments and special projects.
Job Specific Qualifications:
Bachelors in Human Services or related field of study
Proven advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Advanced computer skills
Valid Driver’s License
Career Summary (does not include all responsibilities):
Case Managers are responsible for assisting the Case Management team with administrative duties to include electronic recordkeeping of guest information upon intake and as required, collection of data and reports provided to appropriate agencies/team members, guest intake process (as needed), assist guests by answering questions and helping with resources, participation in savings programs, referrals for job skills among other services.
Attend internal and external training and conferences as assigned.
Assist with clothing vouchers and transportation as needed.
Coordinate training activities and schedules, reserve rooms, prepare handouts.
Provide ‘help desk’ assistance for the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS).
All Rescue Mission of Roanoke team members may be asked to complete other duties as assigned by the leadership/management.
Expectation is to complete these assignments as requested.
