Antique Small Sad or Flat Iron - $15 (roanoke city)

Antique miniature sad or flat iron produced between 1890-1910, this one is made by Dover, known as a Dolly Iron These small irons were used to iron small areas on clothes, like the cuffs or collars of shirts, tiny pleats on dresses, etc.
The bottom cast iron piece would be heated up on a stove, and then slide the top piece with handle over it, and latch into place.
