Lead Teacher

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Teacher for a Pre-K classroom to join our team.
As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students using the Montessori method.

Duties: - Plan and implement educational activities and lessons based on students' individual needs using the Montessori method - Provide instruction in various subjects, including practical life skills, math, language and sensorial - Monitor student progress and provide ongoing feedback to parents - Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance - Participate in professional development opportunities Qualifications: - Associate degree in child related field - Experience working with students in the Pre-K age group - Familiarity with assistive technology and learning resources for students with disabilities - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Excellent classroom management skills *Teachers must sign a yearly teaching contract for this position.
Two background checks and a Tuberculosis test is also required.
