Pay Range: $1,600 - $1,750 / pay period This position is responsible for the day-to day operation of the restaurant.
Responsible for teaching, training and leading restaurant staff.
Must coach, counsel and develop staff to maximize sales and profitability, control expenses, handle Guest complaints and ensure sanitation, safety and food quality.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo a 6 week training program at our training facility in Christiansburg.
Housing will be provided for the duration of the training program.
ABC and servSafe certifications will be part of the training program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensure each guest receives excellent service.
Recruit, train, develop and communicate through daily interaction with the staff.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, all state and federal wage and hour regulations and Restaurant filing responsibilities.
Ensure all equipment is in good working repair.
Verify that all food is prepared to spec with regards to portion, preparation and plate presentation.
Manager all processes including pull thaw, prep lists, food inventory, beverage cost, truck orders, food safety, etc.
Responsible and accountable for key results to include food cost, inventory levels and health department ratings.
Write and manage staff schedules.
Qualifications Prefer at least one year restaurant experience in either Macados or another restaurant preferred.
Computer Skills Basic computer skills required.
Physical requirements This position requires regular attendance, the ability to work 45 to 50 hours a week is required.
Requires the ability to stand or walk for hours at a time.
Frequently required to hear, speak, walk, crawl.
Climb, stand, reach, bend, stoop, lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
