Sentara Health is seeking an individual contributor level as a Vendor Management Contract Manager!
This is a Full-Time position, fully remote, with day shift hours and great benefits!
Travel expectation of 1x a quarter to Williamsburg is preferred, not mandatory for department meetings.

This position will play a pivotal role in the management of vendor contracts across Sentara Health Plans.
The incumbent will be required to initiate and facilitate complex contract negotiations and incorporate results into new and existing vendor contracts based on internal feedback as well as company standards.
This requires close collaboration within the Vendor Management Organization and strong relationship building with various departments.
The Contract Manager will be required to deal effectively with contractual priorities and deadlines and handle multiple tasks as well as possess the ability to work well with others in high-volume situations, while effectively interfacing with internal and external professionals.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field Minimum of 1-year experience working in a service organization specifically focused on Medicaid, Medicare, disabled and/or vulnerable members.
Vendor Contract Management Experience- Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with vendors/subcontractors Required experience: Managed Care Contracting- 5 years, Negotiating Managed Care Contracts- 5 years; Supply Chain Operations Preferred qualifications: Demonstrated accomplishments in negotiations, managing complex sourcing transactions, and customer service.
General understanding of the HMO concept and business operations.
Previous experience in sourcing and/or vendor contracting.
Exceptional organization skills.
Excellent oral & written communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and achieving business goals.
Strong communication skills with proven ability to influence and drive solutions across all organizational levels.
Strong strategic and operational planning experience.
Experience leading cross-functional programs/projects.
Worked successfully independently and with a team.
Ability to collaborate and communicate with members of the executive leadership team.
