Assistant Manager Job Description
Responsibilities
*Act as Opening Supervisor or Closing Supervisor as needed *Primary Elderployee trainer – new Elderployees and cross-training *Assist Store Manager in implementation of goals and projects *Take on and own projects and goals as assigned *Assist Store Manager with Elderployee communication *Take responsibility to maintain daily standards and operations including sanitation, freshness, customer service, product recipes, adherence to checklists *Act as Store Manager in their absence/vacation *“Store Manager in training” – continually learning *Assist Store Manager with ordering and scheduling as directed, to maintain inventory and coverage of the store at all times.
*Willing to take initiative around the store *Ability to see “big picture”
Requirements
*Open availability, at least 20 - 30 hours a week on average *Previous food service and management experience *Ability to lead a team of people *Demonstrates integrity and character *Demonstrates teamwork and loyalty to the company *Demonstrates respect for others and positive attitude *Competency in all areas of Elderberry’s tasks *Willingness to learn, adapt, innovate *Commitment to providing customers with quality products and service *Shows ability to delegate and work through Elderployees to achieve goals
Compensation
*Training starts at 13/hour +tips *Att discount plan *IRA matching (after 90 days of employment) *Eat for free *Paid vacation time *Bonus opportunities
Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week.
Compensation is $15.
