Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, take messages, and direct calls to appropriate departments
- Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries and concerns
- Data Entry, scanning, faxing, emailing, and copying
-Check-in and check-out patients, ensuring accuracy of information
- Verify insurance benefits, explaining coverage, and patient responsibility
- Take orders for contacts lenses, requests from other specialties, making referrals
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using Google Suite and other office software
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of medical office procedures is a plus
- Clerical experience or experience as a receptionist is a plus
