Education/experience
Master of Science in Nursing required.
Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator ( CHSE ) certification preferred.
Recent experience with computer simulation in a clinical or educational setting preferred.
Job Summary
Works collaboratively with all nursing faculty, administration, and students to develop and implement clinical simulation as a method of learning for nursing students to enhance and support their educational needs.
Required Qualifications
Proficiency with computer skills and use of instructional technology strategies.
Knowledge of education principles and teaching-learning methods.
Excellent public relations abilities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
In-depth clinical knowledge of outcome based patient care.
Preferred Qualifications
Clinical experience in medical/surgical, critical care, obstetrics and/or pediatrics.
Teaching experience and use of classroom technologies.
Knowledge of computer hardware and software application relevant to simulator functions.
Hiring Range
Commensurate with experience.
