Registered Nurse - Med Surg- Salem VA Medical Center

*Requirements:* * Med/Surg RNs must possess a *minimum of two (2) years of experience in this field*.
* BLS and ACLS through AHA *Job Description:* * Utilizes the nursing process and an interdisciplinary approach to provide direct, continuous, and comprehensive patient care.
* Performs nursing functions related to physician-prescribed treatments.
* Assists patients with activities of daily living.
* Administers medications and IV therapies in compliance with local facility policies.
* Obtains patient history and pertinent family histories.
* Assesses patients and plans appropriate nursing care.
* Documents patient’s medical records with the plans-of-care and the care provided to the patients.
Job Types: Full-time, Travel nursing, Contract Pay: $50.
