Real Estate Loan Specialists are responsible for growing Blue Eagle Credit Union's reputation as a real estate lender and creating a welcoming environment and creating an exceptional impression on all our members.
Key job functions include, but are not limited to:
Cultivate the growth of the Credit Union's real estate loan portfolio (accept application, underwrite loan, decision loan, close loan)
Uses consultative needs assessments to identify and qualify members for appropriate products and services
Consistently delivers 5 STAR Google rating service to members, teammates, and partners
Leading and growing the Credit Union through the addition of new members and the expansion of existing member relationships using probing and interviewing skills
Attaining sales goals
Becoming proficient in credit union regulations, policies, and procedures

Requirements:
The 'must haves' for the Real Estate Specialist:
Currently registered with the National Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS)
1-3 years of experience originating real estate loans in the secondary market
1-3 years of sales & business development experience with individual sales goals
Associate degree or higher from an accredited college/university, or equivalent experience

Thrives in a sales environment and on commission based earnings.
Becomes a lending expert including performing the entire residential mortgage process from interview to close by accepting, analyzing, underwriting on loan applications up to individual lending authority.
Provides ongoing support to members via a needs based sales approach of the Credit Union's products and services.
Becomes a Credit Union ambassador and fluent in all branch operations.
Develops new business and maintains an active pipeline via outbound sales calls and business development initiatives to ensure individual and team sales goals are accomplished
