Job Description:
The Digital Marketing Specialist is a dedicated, organized, detail-oriented, results-driven individual who will play an integral role in communicating key priorities across all digital channels.
This person will collaborate with the Director of Sales & Marketing, Director of Marketing and others to develop programs and campaigns to maximize revenue and awareness for The Omni Homestead Resort.

Assist the Director of Marketing with creating strategic, integrated marketing plans and initiatives.
Manage digital campaigns via PMG (digital agency) and OSC.
Conduct regular audits of website content and images to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
Develop strategic calendar for social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), which utilizes a variety of tactics (posts, stories, reels, etc.
) and evaluate effectiveness of posts.
Enter resort and local events into online event calendar.
Review, edit and proof all marketing collateral in conjunction with the Director of Marketing.
Oversee all online profiles including Virginia.
org, VisitBath.
com, HistoricHotels.
org, Wedding Wire, The Knot, SkiSoutheast.
com, etc.
Assist in coordination of on property video and photo shoots.
Manage collateral fulfillment for meeting planners, PBX, activities desk, Chamber of Commerce, Welcome Centers, etc.
Create monthly reports on social media highlighting key successes, learnings and trends.
Job Requirements:
Degree in hospitality, communications or marketing, or similar
3 years’ experience in resort/hospitality preferred
Proven track record of executing campaigns that yield positive results
Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of AP Style
Photography experience
Proficiency needed in:
Strong proofreading skills
Microsoft Office
