Job Description:
Hands on training opportunity for someone to develop their hospitality and wine skills at the beautiful Omni Homestead Resort, specifically at The Virginia Wine Experience.
Take your wine knowledge to the next level here at The beautiful Omni Homestead Resort.
Responsibilities:
Perform host role in our Virgina Wine Experience Tasting Room, educating guests on the exciting growth and positioning of the blossoming Viginia Wine Industry
Work with the Virginia Wine Experience staff to curate experiences for our guests at various wine dinners and related events.
Be an ambassador for the Virginia Wine movement.
Attend to and anticipate guest’s needs.
Demonstrate excellent teamwork.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Operations Leader.
Qualifications:
Strong communication skills – both written and verbal required
Previous experience in a customer service preferred
Willingness to learn and take on different projects
Ability to adapt to changing environments
Must be able to walk, sit, stand, squat, and lean during daily business for extended periods of time.
Ability to work up to 50 hours per week
Valid Servsafe food handler and Tips certification upon hire.
