We are looking for a Business Development Officer to serve members.

This role will support external member experience by providing in-person financial knowledge and services to members of Member One FCU.

A Business Development Officer responsibilities may range from finding new customers to managing existing business relationships.

• Analyzing current and past financial data and providing strategies to cut costs and increase revenue • Leading the charge on market research plans to identify new opportunities • Working with executives to implement marketing strategies and new opportunities • Encouraging new and existing clients by creating and improving proposals • Tracking expenses and maintaining the company budget • Ensuring that the company meets revenue targets • Developing and pitching ideas for potential investors • Developing and sustaining solid relationships with company stakeholders and customers.
• Analyzing customer feedback data to determine whether customers are satisfied with company products and services.
• Providing insight into product development and competitive positioning.
• Analyzing financial data and developing effective strategies to reduce business costs and increase company profits.
• Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities.
• Collaborating with company executives to determine the most viable, cost-effective approach to pursue new business opportunities.
• Meeting with potential investors to present company offerings and negotiate business deals.
• Acts as a steward for “People Standards” to enhance internal and external member experience and service levels in daily operations.
• Comply with all federal regulations, Credit Union policies and procedures, including Bank Secrecy and the USA Patriot Act.
• Comply with all fair lending laws and the prohibitions enumerated in the Credit Union’s lending policy.
• Actively supports the mission, vision, and core values of the Credit Union to deliver excellent service.
Qualifications: Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
Experience Requirements: 2 - 4 years of professional experience.
Additional Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage workload.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong networking skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent pc skills utilizing various current software packages.
