The Business Development Representative (BDR) will serve as a member of the management team and will report to the Branch management.
The BDR will contribute to the overall strategic direction of the maintenance business from both a financial and operational perspective and will serve as a “Key Point of Connection” to both the company & client.
As the BDR of the Company, this person must have unquestioned personal and business integrity and be viewed as credible and trustworthy both within the company and externally.
This person must be strong in professional sales/B2B who understands the value proposition of the total enterprise and can enhance the Company's maintenance division(s) by participating in the creation, integration, and execution of financial and strategic plans in support of achieving overall business objectives for the maintenance division consisting of prospecting, selling, and growing relationships in the verticals of commercial, retail, hospitality, health care, municipal, higher education, K-12, and entertainment.
Need to be results-driven with excellent interpersonal skills to seek out and engage customer prospects.
Serve as the initial point of contact between RSG and prospects/clients, while being supportive to existing clients of our services.
Responsible for creating & maintaining their own portfolio along with existing, organizing and directing long and short range strategic financial planning for your service area, communicating the benefits of RSG’s products and services to drive sales.
Responsible for reviewing the projects after sales to ensure all work is being performed as sold.
Work is performed under the general direction of RSG Landscaping LLC with latitude for independent judgment and action.
_*ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:*_ · Establish, develop, and maintain a positive business/customer relationship · Help maintain existing business/customer relationships · Present, promote and sell our products/services using proven results to existing and prospective customers · Meet with existing/potential customers to discuss cost/benefit and needs analysis to meet their needs & of the company · Develop a list of prospective clients through networking, cold calling, and referrals · Lead consultative, information gathering meetings with prospects · Meet regularly with the company managers to discuss “pipeline” work, areas of coverage for density, upsell possibilities, P&L reviews, and renewal dates.
· Achieve agreed upon sales goals within schedule · Coordinate sales meetings/efforts with Branch Manager and/or other departments as needed for Pre/Post work reviews · Use the company’s maintenance estimating software program (“Asset”) and make recommendations for improvement to create profitable & detailed proposals · Review the current Density structure for the branch and determine the market potential, track its sales and be able to provide status reports of each · Deliver to management reports of desired customer needs, problems, interests, and/or potential for new services · Review Client P&L’s quarterly with managers and/or as requested · Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested by management.
· Participates in employee meetings and training as needed.
· Performs special projects as assigned.
· Meets attendance requirements and maintains the highest level of dependability.
· Consistently demonstrates ability to respond to changing situations in a flexible manner to meet current needs and reprioritizes work as necessary.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $45,000.
00 - $60,000.
