Candidates selected for a welding position will be responsible for fitting and welding various non-pressurized, structural weldments as well as pressurized vessels.
They must have the ability to interpret blueprints with the use of weld symbol knowledge and fabrication experience.
*RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Welding stainless steel and mild steel fabricated weldments
* Capable of performing Flux Core Arc welding, MIG welding, plasma and torch cutting
* Preparation of weld seams prior to welding
* Proficient ability to perform tasks with various air and hand tools
* Ability to layout parts of fabricated assemblies by interpretation of engineering drawings
* Inspects completed weldments to ensure quality and conformance
* Properly transact work orders to capture labor and costs
* Maintains a clean and safe work environment for self and coworkers
* Holds self accountable for following required PPE policies
Compensation is based on candidates skill set and ability to perform job requirements within the assigned welding levels 1, 2 and 3.
