McAirlaid’s is seeking a top-quality candidate for the position of Maintenance Inventory Specialist.
The position includes simple maintenance activities that are essential to McAirlaid’s operations to be carried out easily and safely on accessible components.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Process and Controls Engineer to join our team.
As a Process and Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for our manufacturing processes.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient and effective operation of our equipment and machinery.
Responsibilities:
* Managing a PM program
* Troubleshooting
* Developing a deep understanding of machines and processes
* Contributes to technical reports, validations, and qualifications
* Assists in completing proper documentation to meet quality systems requirements.
(e.
g.
, BOM’s, Routers, FMEA’s, etc.
)
* Writes validation protocols and reports applicable to new processes.
* Assists in developing qualified production lines.
* Provides Design for Manufacturability (DFM) input.
May train manufacturing personnel when required as part of a validation.
Skills:
- Proficient in Simulink, SoC (System on Chip), AutoCAD, MATLAB, Python, FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array), and other relevant software tools
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices
- Experience in designing and implementing control systems for industrial applications
- Familiarity with debugging techniques and tools for troubleshooting control systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Minimum Qualifications:
* 2-5 years’ experience with BS in Engineering with an emphasis on electrical
* Manufacturing related experience in a process industry preferred
* ·Well versed in Weights and Measures/English and Metric units
Preferred Qualifications:
* Candidate will need to have the ability to work cross-functionally
* Experience in continuous process operations.
Experience in the paper / non-woven industries a plus
