We specialize in creating custom, hand-decorated cakes and desserts for major retailers.

Job Summary
Lead and supervise all aspects of assigned production lines including team members and equipment performance.
Collaborate with Production Manager on team line assignments, line preparation, and production execution.
Lead and coach assigned production employees.
Coach respect, honesty, inclusion, and safety.
Essential Job Duties:
Lead and optimize all aspects of assigned production lines/employees.
Execute against production schedules to maximize efficiencies, fill rates, and finished goods inventories.
Plan and schedule workflow for operations within each production department.
Communicate safety/quality/production information with line leads and other production staff.
Advocate for safety of all team members including following safety regulations and suggesting changes to improve unsafe conditions.
Ensure new employees receive training support through communication with Line Leads and Team Leads.
Communicate production/equipment problems for expedited problem solving.
Provide positive feedback and coaching to team members including both formalized reviews and ongoing feedback.
Ensure first pass quality and assisting QC team in monitoring quality of finished product, case product labels, pallet quality, palletizing of product, and wrapping of pallets.
Follow and reinforce company safety, GMP, behavioral rules, & other policies in the employee handbook.
Responsible for reporting any issues that impact food safety or quality immediately or issues brought to your attention by hourly employees.
Proactively supports the organization’s goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred and High School Diploma required
Good verbal and written communication skills (Bilingual preferred)
Significant experience in a manufacturing setting
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a lead position in a manufacturing setting.
Food experience preferred.
Proficient computer skills in EXCEL, WORD, PowerPoint, and other software systems required.
