*Responsibilities:*
* Complete layout, fabrication, installation, repair, and maintenance of fixed fire protection systems.
* Follow manufacturer instructions, codes/standards, and Company policies.
* Interpret blueprints for proper system installation, repair, and maintenance.
* Verify and select materials according to job specifications, tracking and communicating material needs.
* Organize and prepare materials and equipment for job sites.
* Identify and communicate necessary changes to proposed work to Field Supervisor.
* Plan installation/repair sequence to minimize impact on customer activities.
* Cut, thread, and bend pipes, joining and securing them using proper standards and techniques.
* Maintains clean and neat job sites.
* Upholds Eagle Fire's reputation in all transactions.
* Commit to working until obligations are met, potentially involving overtime.
* Complete continuing education for required certifications/licenses.
* Perform other related duties as required.
*Qualifications:*
* Self-starter, able to work independently
* 2+ years of industry experience in Sprinkler Install and Service on Wet, Dry, Pre-action and Deluge systems.
* Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and design specifications.
* Experience with trade tools and equipment such as pipe threader and groover
* Able to meet state licensing requirements and/or vendor certifications.
* Fire Sprinkler Manufacturer’s Certifications
* NICET certification
* Has practical knowledge of fire protection codes and standards
* Excellent customer service skills
* Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record for the last 5 years
* Ability to stand for long periods, lift, crouch, reach, handle, push, and pull
* Willingness to travel and stay out of town as needed
* Comfortable working in various temperature conditions and exposure to loud sounds
* Fluent in English, effective communication skills
