I own a house and am renting out a bedroom inside of my home that I live in.
There is a mini fridge and a shoe rack in the room.
The shoe rack does not have to stay if you do not want it.
The neighborhood is mostly comprised of older people that are retired so it is very quiet here.
House is located just a quick 6-7 minute drive to Towers Mall, Carilion/Roanoke Memorial Hospital and a few minutes more to the downtown area.
Room is available 2-4-24, only one bathroom to be shared.
I do not allow pets.
Looking for someone that cleans up after themselves and willing to share in cleaning the common areas with everyone in the household, honest, responsible, no illegal drugs, no heavy drinking or partying, no smoking, no drama, respectable towards others in the household, must have steady source of income and be responsible enough to pay the FULL monthly rent on a timely manner.
Total rent for the room is $370 which includes all utilities except cable, phone and internet.
I do have WIFI and will let someone use that for extra charge.
$370 security deposit.
Both the full rent and security deposit must be paid in full before I will sign a lease and let someone move in.
I do not accept partial payments, both when you first move in or afterwards.
I "do not" rent to couples under any circumstances.
I am allowing only "one person" to rent the room.
House is on the bus line.
The kitchen has a dishwasher and is available for cooking any meals if needed.
Laundry room has a large capacity dryer and HE washer.
House has central A/C, oil heat.
***Must have references.
*** I am a female and for safety reasons cannot let someone move in without references.
I do require a month-to-month lease to be signed which means you are not stuck in a long term lease.
