You will be trained to operate several small machines and hands-on operations to move product through the department for further processing.
*Day shift Monday - Friday*
*Responsibilities include:*
* Straighten, trim and identify drawn tubing to be delivered to the next operation using hand tools, small spinning lathes and wet cut off saw
* Learn to run small CNC lathe producing machined parts for next operation
* Clean, straighten, trim and identify extruded tubes using small pneumatic drill and rod, manual kick press, electric hand scribe, small spinning lathes
* Maintain clean safe work area using broom, mop and water, hand towels

Lathes, however, involve rotating a workpiece against a single-bladed cutting tool, whereas milling machines involve rotating a multi-bladed or -pointed cutting tool against a stationary workpiece.
