*Responsibilities and duties:*
We service and repair semi-trailers in our Cloverdale, VA facility.
Service technicians will have the knowledge, skill and expertise to repair any component of a semi-trailer.
Our technicians may learn / perform:
* Brake Relines, Brake Chambers, Brake Drum Replacement
* Federal (FHWA) And State Inspections
* Suspension, Tandem, Slider Assembly Maintenance And Repair
* Air Bag, Leaf Spring And Hanger Repair / Replacement
* Landing Gear Repair / Replacement
* Swing Or Overhead Door Repair / Replacement
* Straight Truck Body Repairs
* Lights, ABS System Repairs
* Aerodynamic Side Skirt And Nose Cone Installations
* Liftgate Installation, Repair, And Maintenance
* Electric Or Manual Tarp Installation And Repair
* Tautliner And Conestoga Tarp System Repair And Replacement
* Floor Liners Installed For Dump Trailers And Dump Body Trucks
* Roof, Side Panel, Floor Repair / Replacement
* “BEELINE” Professional Trailer Alignments
* Live Floor Repairs And Retrofit Installations
* Major Wreck Repairs
*Requirements:*
Successful applicants for the full-time positions must be able to meet the physical demands of the job:
* Consistently lift a min.
of 75 lbs – with assistance
* Ability to climb, bend and crawl
* Active and valid driver's license
Individuals applying must also be:
* dependable (punctual, focused, and acts with integrity)
* a self-starter motivated by job quality
* willing to work as a team
Experience with basic repairs such as brake jobs, air systems, undercarriage repairs, patch work and/or welding is a plus.
*Our ideal candidate:*
Successful candidates with 1+ years of heavy equipment / semi-trailer repair experience and/or 2+ years in skilled construction labor.
