This early career Electrical Engineering position allows you to grow your skills as a member of product development team - a multi-disciplinary engineering development team that includes System Engineering, Electrical System and Power Conversion Design, Mechanical Design, Control Hardware Design, Grid Regulation coordination, Software Design, and Integration / Test.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Assist Senior Engineers to develop and implement new designs and design improvements
Execute and document subsystem and component validation test plans.
Evaluate power circuit protection and coordination.
Participate in FMEA and risk assessment and root cause analysis activities.
Provide technical clarification of designs with suppliers, manufacturing, and services teams.
Test and qualify components for production and resolve issues as needed to maintain product quality.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical or related discipline.
Knowledge of electrical distribution, power electronics, or control system design.
Desired Characteristics

Ability to demonstrate a structured approach to problem solving, learning agility.
Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms.
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in project teams in an international environment.
Proficiency in MS Office tools
Related electrical engineering experience through COOP or University classwork.
Familiarity with power electronics and control systems
Familiarity with wind turbine or photovoltaic system technologies.
Familiarity with Instrumentation and measurement of power converters.
Familiarity with Arc Flash analysis (EasyPower or SKM) and testing
