Job Description:
To ensure a safe, efficient, well-maintained environment
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
Good mechanical aptitude
Trouble shooting skills
Basic plumbing knowledge, to include:
Ability to repair skinks, tubs/showers, toilets, etc.
Ability to clear drains with a hand snake or plunger
Basic tool knowledge
Ability to complete small jobs with little to no supervision.
Fills pipe system with water or air and reads pressure gauges to determine whether system is leaking
Repairs and maintains plumbing by replacing washers in leaky faucets, mending burst pipes and opening clogged drains
Work on other equipment as needed.
Have a thorough understanding of Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.
Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations.
Tools and Equipment:
Telephone, photo-copying machine
Plumbers’ hand, power & shop tools
Drain augers & jetters
Soldering, brazing, welding & cutting equipment
Working Environment:
Interior & all areas of the resort.
Exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures.
Exterior of resort with exposure to weather conditions.
