Position: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Job Description: Industrial Maintenance Technician installs, repairs and maintains our equipment and buildings through troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of service.
Responsibilities:
* Produce products that are safe, legal, and with excellent quality
* Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements
* Repair pneumatic and hydraulic components and systems
* Maintain controls, values, and calibrations to make sure everything is functioning properly
* Make emergency repairs when necessary to off-set excessive down time and production delays
* Utilize root cause analysis techniques to identify and correct equipment failures
* Troubleshoot plant electrical issues and maintain all plant electrical equipment.
* AC and DC troubleshooting skills are a must
* Use instructions or manuals on installations, systems layout, and changeovers to complete project work
* Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
* Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
* Must be able to physically handle the requirements of the job, including lifting, bending, climbing stairs, spending working hours on your feet, etc.
Qualifications:
· Regular, reliable, predictable attendance
* Minimum 2-years previous mechanical experience, including preventative repair in an industrial environment.
* Strong mechanical aptitude
* Ability to read schematics and electrical diagrams
* Excellent communication skills
* Must be flexible to work extended hours to support the requirements of the business.
* High school diploma or equivalent
Offer will be contingent upon completion of drug screen and background check.
Pay is based on experience and skill level.
Pay includes a shift differential of $1.
50 for nights.
