McAirlaid’s is seeking a top-quality candidate for the position of Maintenance Inventory Specialist.
The position includes simple maintenance activities that are essential to McAirlaid’s operations to be carried out easily and safely on accessible components.
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team.
As a Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various systems and equipment within our facility.
This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment
- Conduct regular inspections of building systems to identify potential issues or areas for improvement
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate repairs and installations
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Perform HVAC maintenance and repairs, including filter changes, belt replacements, and system testing
- Conduct high voltage electrical work in compliance with safety regulations
- Assist with the installation of new equipment or systems as needed
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for maintenance tasks
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Paint and perform minor carpentry\\Drywall work
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist Safety department to ensure safe work areas
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Facilities Technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for troubleshooting and repairs
- Familiarity with industrial maintenance practices and procedures
- Proficiency in working with hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments for accurate repairs and installations
