We assist with new construction projects by performing demolition, clearing, excavation, asphalt paving, concrete work, water mains, sewer, storm drainage, throughout central and southwest Virginia.

People are our priority! We are currently seeking a Site Superintendent for projects in central and southwest Virginia.
The Superintendent is responsible for ensuring site safety, timely completion of projects, scheduling, and overseeing day to day operations in the field.
This candidate must be highly motivated with a strong work ethic, possess a positive can-do attitude, and be willing to get hands dirty and do whatever it takes to get the job done!
Primary Responsibilities:
* Ensure the safety of team members and project sites at all times
* Maintain complete understanding of blueprints/drawings, schedules, project plans, subcontractor responsibilities, and scope of work
* Plan, schedule and assign daily tasks for site and crew
* Ensure daily production goals are met by performing walkthroughs to verify daily activities
* Manage, order and schedule materials, equipment and subcontractors
* Must communicate effectively
* Must be able to run multiple crews on multiple job sites if needed
* Must be able to lead self-perform crews, subcontractors and job site as a whole
Knowledge and Experience:
* Must have 6-10 years of experience minimum
* Must have experience installing storm drain, water and sewer as well as demolition, clearing, grading, excavation, roadwork and asphalt paving
* Must be able to calculate, shoot, and set grade elevations
* Must be able to calculate volume/cubic yards of material and tonnage for stone
* Must be able to read survey and layout stakes
* Must be able to read plans and blueprints
* Must be able to operate equipment effectively such as bulldozers, track hoe, backhoe, loader, skid steer, roller, etc.
* Must be able to manage and oversee job site and subcontractors
* Ability to use computers, laptops, or cell phone to communicate with Management, Subcontractors, and Clients
Additional Requirements:
* Must be a strong and effective leader, who leads by example
* Must possess critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
* Valid driver’s license required, a CDL preferred
* Must pass drug test/screening
* Concrete experience preferred
Education: Minimum High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.
00 - $46.
00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
