Production Control Data Coordinator

The Production Control Data Coordinator tracks customer orders and releases by reviewing, revising, and comparing system data to ensure customer releases are correct.
Inputs and maintains production data in the MRP and other related systems.
Uses customer data and sales forecasts to release orders to various departments to ensure efficient flow of materials and production.
Issues orders to the appropriate departments when revisions are made.
Utilizes advanced Excel skills to manage complex spreadsheets and reports.
This position interacts with Sales, Purchasing, Planning, and Logistics.
The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, organized, and have a high level of comfort working with numbers and various data systems.
Requirements: * Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience entering, comparing, and matching data from multiple systems.
* Knowledge of material and production flow in a manufacturing environment.
* Analytical ability to define or recognize deficiencies or variances with the ability to take or recommend action based upon established guidelines.
* Ability to utilize MRP systems; understanding of process flow, inventory and impact to systems and ordering.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position.
