Southern Team Automall is seeking an experienced Junior IT Network Administrator.
This position reports directly to the IT Director.
We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our IT team as a Junior Network Administrator.
In this multifaceted role, you'll be responsible for supporting the organization's network infrastructure, engaging in PC troubleshooting, assisting with user onboarding, and conducting network testing.
Additionally, there may be occasional travel requirements to collaborate with other IT teams.
**Responsibilities:**
1.
Configure and deploy network equipment
2.
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and conduct network testing.
3.
Collaborate with team members to implement network and PC security measures and protocols.
4.
Provide technical support for end-users, including PC troubleshooting and onboarding assistance.
5.
Assist in the installation and maintenance of server hardware and software.
6.
Document network configurations, changes, and procedures.
7.
Perform routine backups and ensure data integrity on networked systems.
8.
Assist in troubleshooting cloud based phone system troubleshooting
**Qualifications:**
1.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
2.
Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
3.
Familiarity with network and PC security principles and best practices.
4.
Experience with network hardware and software, including Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent.
5.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including PC-related issues.
6.
Basic understanding of server administration and operating systems.
7.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
8.
Certifications such as CompTIA Network+ or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are a plus.
9.
Google Workspace experience is a plus.
