Core Duties* of an ELECTRICIAN at Fleetwood Homes:
Strip wires in switches and recepts to begin installation process – using approved wire strippers.
Secure device to junction box and then apply proper fire stop requirements.
Install cover onto device.
Trace short in circuit by disconnecting electrical devices from outlets.
(*These duties do not reflect all the duties for the role of an Electrician)
Physical Requirements* of an ELECTRICIAN at Fleetwood Homes:
Ability to enter and exit houses on a consistent basis by climbing stairs.
Ability to safely ascend and descend ladders as needed.
Must be able to work on your knees (knee pads are acceptable) for extended periods of time.
Must be able to work in a construction-type environment while maintaining a solid pace.
Must be able to work safely with others in tight spaces in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:
Continuous exposure to heat, cold, noise, and working outdoors.
Must wear protective equipment while at the location
Qualifications:
Construction or Warehouse Experience a plus, but not required
Ability to perform physically demanding work in a climate-protected environment
Skilled in the operation and control of hand tools (tape measure, hammer, utility knife, etc.
)
Flexible to work in a fast paced, changing environment
Not afraid to get dirty and handle tools/equipment on a daily basis
Must be 18 years of age
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
