Job is based in Clearbrook, VA with some travel to PA
Projects are mostly Industrial with some Commercial
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage mostly Industrial electrical projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met
- Review and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Conduct construction estimating and cost analysis for electrical projects
- Collaborate with electrical engineers to develop system designs and schematics
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes, including NEC regulations
- Monitor project progress, identify any issues or delays, and implement corrective actions
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality and safety standards
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and blueprints
- Experience with construction estimating software and tools
- Familiarity with NEC regulations and electrical codes
- Proficient in using project management software such as Bluebeam and Prolog
- Excellent project coordination skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills to address technical issues during project execution
- Detail-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy in system design and implementation
