JOB SUMMARY:
Provides effective sales support, supervision and delivery of projects within the field service, operations and manufacturing functions in close cooperation with the project owner.
(end user) This individual will be responsible for the successful delivery of service quotes, ensuring compliance with the quote specifications and ensuring that orders are delivered on time, to budget and according to Munters Terms and Conditions.
Sense of urgency is key in this role understanding that service means we are the ones who respond quickly and handle issues for our clients whenever they need us.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide service quotes to support projects in the field by defining project scope, cost estimates, goals and deliverables with collaboration as required from Munters, engineering, service sales leadership, production, quality, and service groups.
Help drive DCT Service Sales by conducting service check-in “cold calls”.
These should be used as opportunities to quote critical spare parts packages, extended warranty and service contracts.
These will be virtual (Teams or Zoom) as well as in person with travel.
Effectively communicates relevant service sales information to service sales management.
Prepares contractual claims including extensions of time, prolongation cost, acceleration cost and all other contractual claims in support of field service projects.
Proficient in project schedule management.
Provides timely response to all sales requests.
Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
Understands basic revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-completion projections.
Understands pricing model and billing procedures.
Follows-up with clients, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices.
Ensures service sales legal documents are completed and signed on a timely basis.
Follows through and reviews project scope to ensure cost and profitability are being met.
Keeps track of lessons learned and shares those lessons with management.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1-3 years in Sales related field preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer terminal, expansive reading, etc.
The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
