Position Overview: We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer Intern to gain hands-on experience in our manufacturing operations.
The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced engineers and manufacturing team to support various projects and initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, quality, and safety within our production processes.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in the development and implementation of manufacturing processes and procedures to optimize production efficiency and quality.
Conduct time studies, process analyses, and line balancing to identify opportunities for improvement and waste reduction.
Support the design and implementation of new equipment, tooling, and fixtures to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
Participate in continuous improvement projects to streamline workflows and reduce costs.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and engineering drawings.
Contribute to the evaluation and selection of new technologies and manufacturing methods to drive innovation and competitiveness.
Participate in safety initiatives and promote a culture of workplace safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems and make data-driven decisions.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.
g.
, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and familiarity with manufacturing processes (e.
g.
, machining, assembly, fabrication).
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
Prior internship or coursework experience in manufacturing or engineering is preferred, but not required.
