Position description – Tasks, Responsibilities, Competencies
Operates the press brake bending equipment and other machinery used in the production process.
Press brake operators strong problem-solving skills.
Operates metal cutting saw.
Possesses strong aptitude in reading engineering drawings, mathematical conversion, use of measurement tools.
Has strong computer skills including use of touch screen and Microsoft Windows.
Supports Continuous Improvement in productivity, efficiency and cost reduction.
Supports 6S efforts and safety culture, maintain work area and machinery cleanliness
Uses grinding/cutting tools and multi-tasks.
Works with little supervision.
Works with other fabrication equipment, including press brakes and forming equipment.
Unloads items at take off table, buff edges/prepare for next operation.
Operates forklift for loading/movement of raw materials
