Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs in residential and commercial properties
- Conduct routine inspections to identify any issues or repairs needed
- Install, repair, or replace fixtures, appliances, and equipment
- Handle basic plumbing and electrical tasks
- Paint and perform minor carpentry work
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Proven experience as a maintenance person or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of various repair and maintenance techniques
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
Skills:
- Plumbing: Knowledge of basic plumbing systems, including pipe installation, leak detection, and fixture repairs.
- Electrical: Familiarity with electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, switches, and circuit breakers.
- Carpentry: Proficiency in basic carpentry tasks such as measuring, cutting, and installing materials.
- Painting: Experience with interior and exterior painting techniques, including surface preparation and color matching.
- General Maintenance: Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, replacing filters, and lubricating equipment.
