Building Maintenance Worker

Responsibilities: - Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing plumbing systems, electrical wiring, and HVAC systems - Conduct inspections of building systems and equipment to identify and resolve issues - Respond to maintenance requests from tenants or employees in a timely manner - Coordinate with contractors and vendors for repairs or installations - Keep accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment - Supervise and train maintenance staff as needed Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Proven experience in building maintenance or a related field - Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems - Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with tenants, employees, and contractors - Ability to supervise and lead a team of maintenance personnel - Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities - Proficiency in English, both written and verbal - Basic welding skills preferred - Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints - Knowledge of electrical systems and ability to perform basic electrical repairs This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are skilled in building maintenance and enjoy providing excellent customer service.
