The Roanoke Valley Resource Authority is seeking a qualified Motor Equipment Operator I who is capable of operating heavy earth-moving construction and motorized equipment in the solid waste disposal operations at the Salem Transfer Station, 1271 Indiana Street, Salem, Virginia and Smith Gap Landfill, 8484 Bradshaw Road, Salem, Virginia.
Education and/or experience equivalent to graduation from high school.
Possession of a valid driver’s license and a good driving record are required.
Subject to a complete criminal background check and physical to include drug screening.

Annual Salary to Start: $38,000 - 40,292.
50 commensurate upon experience.
