GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The Reporting Analyst will:
Ensure quality IT services are delivered to both operational and instructional areas of the division.
Support and lead various departments through the creation and modification of user defined and customized reports from various data stores using SQL, SSRS and Excel,
Backup responsibility for state and federal reporting mandates.
Participate in activities to define, develop, test, analyze, maintain, and support new software applications to include coding, testing, supporting, and analyzing available software solutions.
Manage enterprise applications and databases.
Use industry standard methodologies.
Interact positively with vendors to resolve identified issues.
Assist/lead distribution/rollout processes for application programs, databases, and updates.
Effectively assist/lead simultaneous projects with established deadlines.
Assist in the installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of software and SQL databases
Provide accurate and reasonable timelines for assigned projects.
Document procedures and guidelines and archive all developed code, applications, and documentation on designated file share.
Provide training formally and informally to customers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Experience preferred with:
Microsoft SQL
Relational database design concepts
Report writing software (preferably SSRS)
Program analysis and documentation
Testing concepts
Office 365
Program Management
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Position requires a BS degree with 2-3 years relevant experience, or combination of education/certifications and experience that enables performance of all aspects of position; prefer experience working in an educational environment; prefer Student Information Systems experience
