Job Description AECOM is hiring a Project Manager - Architecture/Engineering for our Roanoke, VA office.
The PM will be responsible for the day to day project and client management for multi- discipline architectural and engineering design services for buildings and facilities projects and teams from the initial planning through construction phase.
The portfolio of work includes a wide variety of project sizes with a focus on Department of Defense and/or healthcare work.
Candidates must be willing to travel to client sites globally to support assigned projects.
Travel estimated at 15-20%, but will vary based upon project requirements.
Duties include: + Working with the project Principal-in-Charge throughout all phases of the project to obtain client satisfaction and financial project performance + In conjunction with the Principal-in-Charge, successfully develop strategy, prepares proposals, negotiate contracts, and execute project(s) + Communicate with clients and project teams which will include public agencies + Development and management of project schedules and budgets + Quality assurance + May include management of teams across business lines, in remote locations and/or management of subcontractors + Business development and marketing support for proposals and presentations.
+ Facilitate team communication, coordination, and collaboration to support assigned projects + Collaborator with, and mentor less experienced employees Qualifications Minimum requirements: + Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering discipline plus 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education + Project management experience managing multi-discipline architectural engineering building and facilities design projects or demonstrated equivalency of experience/education + Licensed Professional Engineer or Architect + U.
