Job Description AECOM is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to be based in our Roanoke, VA office.
The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for the following items: • Responsible for the overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies • Provides management and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface • Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors • Responsible for administering the project from the pre-construction budgeting/schedule stage through procurement, shop drawing/coordination development, construction, space turnover and contract closeout.
Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned construction project Qualifications Minimum Requirements BA/BS in Construction Management, Engineering or related field plus eight (8) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education U.

Citizenship is required for this position Valid Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices and as a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review Ability to obtain a DoD Clearance Preferred Qualifications 10 plus years of applicable experience ideally on projects involving federal clients including military branches Ability to interact and communicate effectively with other team members and disciplines, clients and contractors Strong technical skills Experienced using Outlook and Microsoft Office Experienced using Microsoft Project or similar scheduling software Experienced using Contract Manager or similar construction management software Strong organizational and management skills Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communications skills Exceptional knowledge of construction ways, means, method and sequences Knowledge of Federal, State and local regulations Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Responsive to changing demands Strong leadership skills Good team-building skills Employs flexibility of methods Additional Information Additional Information Sponsorship is not offered for this position Relocation is not offered for this position With infrastructure investment accelerating worldwide, our services are in great demand, and there’s never been a better time to be at AECOM!
