As Manufacturing Production Supervisor you will lead a team, direct production schedules and processes, and use your manufacturing expertise to ensure that effective and efficient production flow is maintained.
You will coach and lead employees, manage performance, and ensure that the Company's production goals, and customer commitments are being met.
Day shift Monday - Friday
Your role:
Establish and adjust work assignments to meet production schedules
Evaluate and manage capacity constraints and facilitate plans to proactively meet demand requirements
Coach, motivate, counsel and provide feedback to employees
Responsible for attendance, training and working with HR to resolve personnel issues
Lead team in driving continuous improvement efforts in Safety, Quality, Efficiency and Lead Time
Compile and analyze production performance records and data
Analyze and resolve quality issues, excessive scrap, assist team in solving quality problems and implement corrective actions
Monitor use and care of equipment and tools to ensure safe operation and maintenance
What you need to succeed:
5+ years experience working in manufacturing
2+ years Supervisory experience; successfully influencing and motivating employees
Root cause analysis problem solving skills
Ability to set expectations and hold employees accountable
Proficient MS Excel skills and ability to analyze data
High school diploma or GED required
Ability to speak effectively with various levels including management team, customers and employees
