Powder Coater

*We are looking for a 1st shift Powder Coater in Roanoke, VA!* *Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm* *Pay: $16-$18* *Duties:* - Perform powder coating on various metal parts and products - Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary - Operate precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate coating thickness - Fabricate and assemble parts as needed - Follow Lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency and minimize waste - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment *Skills:* - Experience in construction painting or powder coating is preferred - Proficient in using power tools and hand tools - Familiarity with basic math calculations for measuring and mixing coatings - Ability to operate a forklift is a plus - Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management - Basic welding skills are desirable but not required Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
