Responsibilities
As a Civil Site/Water/Wastewater Senior Project Manager you will have the opportunity to lead other practice area team members on a variety of projects including civil site, land development and water/wastewater while managing project budgets and interfacing with clients on a regular basis to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction.
As a seller/doer, you will build relationships with clients and help them move projects forward.
You will be expected to lead by example, be professionally respected, be an excellent communicator, possess an understanding of engineering principles, and catch McGill’s vision of shaping communities together.
Water / wastewater projects will include treatment facility planning and design, raw water intakes, water distribution lines, booster pump station design, regional water planning, water system mapping and management plans, lift station design, sanitary sewer system planning and design, asset management planning, and a variety of permitting.
Civil projects include site planning and design, grading plans, erosion control, site utilities, stormwater management, sidewalks, and streetscapes within the commercial, residential, and manufacturing industries for both public and private clients.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of relevant experience in the design of one or more of the following: civil site / land development / water / wastewater engineering projects.
3+ years demonstrating progressive experience in the management of engineering projects and/or personnel.
Virginia PE licensure or the ability to obtain licensure within 6 months of hire.
Virginia Experience Required
Valid driver’s license.
