A rapidly growing, family-owned General Contractor seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Superintendent to join their dynamic team.
As a Construction Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing commercial construction projects from inception to completion.
This position requires a strong combination of leadership, organizational, and technical skills, as well as a deep understanding of commercial construction processes.
This role will require some travel!
*Responsibilities of the Construction Superintendent:*
* Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
* Provide strong leadership and guidance to on-site construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
* Monitor project budgets and expenses, identifying potential cost-saving opportunities.
* Oversee the implementation of quality control measures to ensure construction work meets industry standards and client expectations.
* Develop and maintain construction schedules, making adjustments as necessary to accommodate changes or unforeseen challenges.
* Proactively identify and resolve construction-related issues, implementing effective solutions to keep the project on track.
*Qualifications of the Construction Superintendent:*
* Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes, codes, and regulations.
* Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
