*Position Overview:* As a Data Analyst focusing on Continuous Improvement in manufacturing settings, you will be an essential part of our team, working hands-on to drive operational excellence through statistical analysis and process improvements.
This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual eager to immerse themselves in the manufacturing environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for enhancement.
*Key Responsibilities:* * *Data Collection and Validation* * Collect, clean, and validate manufacturing data (e.
g.
, OEE, scrap, etc.
) from various sources, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
* Collaborate with frontline staff to ensure data integrity and gather insights from the shop floor.
* *Statistical Analysis* * Apply statistical methods (e.
g.
, Regression, ANOVA, DOE, etc.
) to analyze manufacturing data, including production metrics, quality control data, and equipment performance.
* Generate actionable insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
* *Continuous Improvement Initiatives* * Participate in continuous improvement projects, employing statistical tools and methodologies to identify areas for optimization.
* Collaborate with manufacturing teams to implement data-driven solutions and monitor their impact.
* *Hands-On Engagement* * Spend time on the manufacturing floor to gain a practical understanding of processes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
* Work closely with production teams, demonstrating a willingness to get involved and understand the intricacies of manufacturing operations.
* *Reporting and Documentation* * Develop clear and concise reports and visualizations to communicate key performance indicators and improvement progress.
* Document methodologies, findings, and recommendations for future reference and knowledge sharing.
*Qualification:* * Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.
g.
, Data Science, Statistics, Industrial Engineering) * Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Power BI or Python * Strong foundation in statistical analysis and a keen interest in applying statistical methods to real-world manufacturing challenges.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
