- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in residential and commercial buildings
- Collaborate with construction teams to plan and install plumbing systems during new construction or remodeling projects
- Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues or potential problems
- Diagnose and repair plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, or broken pipes
- Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance
- Follow blueprints, schematics, and building codes to ensure accurate installation and compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters or electricians, to complete projects that require multiple skill sets
