*Position Description*
Class A driver is responsible for the operations of a low-boy, flatbed, LANDOLL, rollback or other size of truck to deliver heavy equipment and materials to various job sites.
This position is responsible for the safe transport of all equipment/materials, loading/unloading and securing equipment to trailers.
*Responsibilities*
*Duties Include*
_Essential Functions:_
* Drives truck hauling equipment, vehicles, or materials.
* Positions chains, straps and binders to secure loads during transit
* Loads and unloads equipment on trailer / truck.
* Conducts routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment
* Maintains logs and records in compliance with DOT regulations
* Maintains and checks truck, trailer and supplies to assure road-worthiness
* Performs minor emergency roadside repairs as needed
* Works various shifts based on the needs of the job
* Follows appropriate standard operating procedures as guidelines for operating and maintaining equipment
_Secondary Duties:_
* Understands and follows directions regarding job needs
* Follows all safety rules and regulations
* Perform other duties as assigned
*Qualifications*

* Must have a strong work ethic and commitment to quality
* Valid Class A CDL and satisfactory driving record required
* Demonstrate safe and proper use of assigned equipment
* Must be able to meet all physical requirements of position
* Pass all drug and/or alcohol screens as required by Company policy and, if applicable, required by DOT regulations
* Be at least 24 years old .
* Legally authorized to work in the United States
_Preferred:_
* Previous experience in construction / towing / or similar environment preferred.
* Three (3) to five (5) years of experience as a truck driver.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $56,000.
