Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team.
As a Landscape Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting with various landscaping tasks to ensure the maintenance and beautification of outdoor spaces.
This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, and trimming lawns
- Plant flowers, shrubs, and trees according to landscape plans
- Assist with hardscape installations, including patios, walkways, and retaining walls
- Irrigate plants and lawns to ensure proper hydration
- Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and pruners for various landscaping tasks
- Utilize power tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers for efficient completion of tasks
- Assist with tree care, including pruning and removal when necessary
- Perform snow plowing and ice removal during winter months
- Dig trenches for irrigation systems or other landscape installations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in landscaping or related field is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and practices
- Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in landscaping
- Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently
- Basic understanding of plant care and irrigation systems
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Note: Starting pay will be figured based upon experience.
